PAST CHALLENGES AND RESULTS
Challenge 1 - 04/10/2023
The first challenge consists of 3 things we need urgently:
1. There is a huge shortage of medical equipment for wound care and medication such as Paracetamol in Ukrainian hospitals.
2. We want to purchase fluorescent jackets for children in Ukraine to be seen in the dark winter months as they walk to school. We already know from a good source that Russia is going to bomb electricity infrastructure again. Our goal is to be able to purchase 100 jackets. The price of 1 jacket is €1.5.
3. We are looking for 10 black and white (ink) printers (already used but still working fine), preferably including ink cartridges, for military administrations that have been bombed.
The non-profit organization “Steun Oekraïne” will leave for Ukraine on October 4. All donations received until September 27 will be used to purchase as much of this material as possible. Thank you in advance for your donations 
Results:
1. We were able to donate 15 American tourniquets to Steun Oekraïne (not Chinese ones, as they tear, and are therefore worthless) at a serious discount, for a total amount of €509.58. With these tourniquets, we saved the lives of 15 (!) seriously injured people, who would otherwise surely die.
2. Thanks to the companies EMV and Immo Beguin, we got 160 fluorescent jackets for free for Ukrainian children.
3. We only got 1 printer, but together with other humanitarian organizations, we got 10 printers in total.
Conclusion: Challenge 1 was a huge success!!! A big thank you to everyone that donated 🙏
