Update July 2023: We called our action the “European” challenge, but we see that a lot of people outside of Europe are also looking at our website. Of course are you also more than welcome to make a donation too! It would be great should this action go around the world. Thank you very much!
The goal of this action is for each person who can, to donate €1. Those who wish may of course donate a bigger amount. But the main goal is €1 per person, so that this remains low-threshold, and as many people as possible donate.
After you have donated, the idea is to further share this action on social media, and tag 3 family members, friends, colleagues,… who you know will definitely donate too. They should then do the same, donate, tag 3 other people, and spread the message further. That way, we hope this action will go viral. So please share it, don’t break the chain. This is essential!!!
Our ultimate dream is that this way we can reach all of Europe and even far beyond, and raise a huge amount of money to help the people of Ukraine.
You may be thinking, doesn’t Ukraine get enough help already? Make no mistake, Ukraine is indeed getting a huge amount of aid, but this is largely about military aid. Humanitarian aid is minimal. Here is where we want to come to the rescue. With the blowing up of the dam in Nova Kachovka a while ago, more than 60 towns and villages were flooded. More than 100,000 Ukrainian people suddenly have nothing left, no house, no food, no clothes,…
That’s where we play our part. With the money raised, we can finance transports with humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and help local organizations.
On behalf of Maria and myself, and especially on behalf of the needy Ukrainian people, we would like to thank you right now for every euro donated. Please keep donating. And just as important: keep on spreading the word! You are making THE difference!!!
